While COVID-19 has put a bit of a crimp in our Fashion Design Center’s (FDC’s) travels around the world, it certainly has not prevented it from gathering the latest trends that will influence Spring/Summer ’22 apparel collections.

Post Covid-19, the need for clothes that provide comfort and reassurance will continue. Focusing on improving physical and mental well-being for consumers who spend more time at home will be essential. #homewear #becomfortable.
Sub-trends include:
- #alldayshield – In a post Covid-19 world where hygiene is a top requirement, protective and antibacterial fibers will add value to stay at home style.
- #easyflex – As the boundaries between intimates and activwear disappear, it’s important to focus on flexible fit that can be applied to both underwear and activewear.
- #luxlounge – soft, low sheen, satin look textiles with functional benefits elevate homewear.
