Hyosung Honored with Prestigious Strategic Partnership Award from Osprey
During an Osprey supplier summit held last week, we were thrilled to receive the Strategic Partnership Award from Osprey, a world-leading, high-performance backpack brand.
Roman Park, Hyosung General Manager NYPET Regen & Robic, received the award on Hyosung’s behalf for our close collaboration with Osprey on the sustainable fabric development created for its best-selling Talon and Tempest backpacks.
“As a complete sustainable textiles solutions provider, we are proud to work with the Osprey product development team to help realize its vision of creating long-lasting, eco-friendly backpacks that its customers will feel good about carrying,” said Park.
Osprey was the first backpack brand to introduce Hyosung’s regen robic in 2019 – a high-tenacity, 100% recycled nylon made from reclaimed waste. Over the next few years, Osprey adopted Hyosung’s regen ocean robic, a GRS-certified, 100% recycled nylon made from discarded fishing nets and other reclaimed nylon waste.
