Today we begin our FDC’s FW 27/28 All-Round Recovery sub-trend and its first theme – Nature Priority – skin friendly intimate wear made from natural fiber blends.

Nature Priority

The trend of using a core fabric as an all-round material allows it to be extended across multiple product categories. The same fabric can be applied not only to men’s inner tops but also to women’s intimate wear, showcasing its exceptional versatility, comfort, and performance. Following this trend, we have updated our natural fiber-blended core fabrics by incorporating bio-based spandex derived from renewable resources such as sugarcane. The result is a fabric that feels gentle and natural against the skin while reflecting eco-conscious value. This thoughtful combination of natural and plant-based materials supports both personal well-being and a healthier planet, offering all-round versatility suitable for a wide range of lifestyles and occasions.

Key Yarns

• regen™ BIO Spandex/Elastane: spandex partly made with renewable resources.
• regen™ Spandex: 100% recycled, RCS-certified spandex made from the reclaimed waste from our manufacturing process.
• CREORA® Color+ Spandex/Elastane: a special acid/reactive dyeable spandex/elastane, which has excellent elasticity with the added benefit of providing long-lasting richer colors in nylon and natural fiber blends. It reduces grin-through on textile products and makes fabric colors deeper and more vivid.

Suggested Fabrics

To apply just a single fabric to a variety of styles, an all-round core fabric with good adaptability, such as hand feel, stretch, and weight, is required. We used hard fibers as modal/cotton which

have traditionally been used, along with wool/lyocell, which have been newly updated this season. To complement these, CREORA® Color+ and regen™ BIO Spandex are added to upgrade sustainability and other functionality such as comfort fit and color aesthetics. You can find single jersey and updated ribbed fabrics that are ideal for universal application in a variety of items.
