Hyosung FDC FW 25/26 Trend Byte 7

We have reached our final FDC FW 25/26 Textile Trend theme, which is called Conscious Preparation. The first of this theme’s three sub-trends we will cover is named The Sweat Life.

The Sweat Life

While sustainability is a crucial factor in the fashion market, function remains a key driver for the active and outdoor markets. Due to unexpected weather changes, customers are looking for high-function apparel, which will keep them comfortable when temperatures and the elements shift. Garments must be breathable and quick drying to control body temperature.

Our recommended yarns and fabrics for The Sweat Life include:

Key Yarns

  • regen Askin: 100% recycled cooling and UV-protective polyester fiber.
  • regen Aqua-X: 100% recycled cooling and UV-protective nylon fiber.
  • regen Aerolight: a lightweight 100% recycled polyester providing outstanding moisture management function and refreshing feel.
  • CREORA® Fresh: a unique anti-odor spandex that effectively neutralizes odors at their source to provide a fresh feeling all day long – even after multiple washings.

Suggested Fabrics

Single jersey/mesh/interlock/tricot – all with breathability and cooling functionality.
