Moving quickly along…our next Exploration of Outdoors theme is called Soft Protection.

A need for versatile textiles that can transition between winter and recreational activities and all-day wear will once again gain more importance.  Outdoor-inspired, soft tactile sherpa fabrics provide comfort and protection for multiple Fall/Winter uses.

Our recommended yarn and fabric suggestions for Soft Protection include:

Hyosung Key Yarns:

• areolight: lightweight polyester fiber that has excellent moisture absorbing and quick drying properties due to its C-type hollow core and multi-filament structure.
• areoheat: heat generating, moisture managing polyester fiber that absorbs solar and artificial light to radiate thermal energy. Its hollow core cross-section adds superior warmth and is lightweight. 
• cotna: a cotton-like polyester fiber with the touch of natural fiber, and easy care function.
• regen: 3^rd party-certified 100% recycled polyester made from post-consumer PET

Fabric Suggestions:

• Soft sherpa
• Brushed double knit
• High pile fleece
