Each season, our Fashion Design Center works tirelessly traveling across the globe to pull together textile trend concepts for our customers. Based on these trends, FDC works with our mill partners to develop fabrics and actual concept garments to help outdoor, fashion, intimate and activewear, workwear brands visualize and ‘feel’ how these fabrics can work into their product offerings.
FDC’s first mega-trend for SS2021 is Holistic.
Holistic. Holistic sees the art of simplifying evolve with deeper, heartfelt emotion. Naturalism and minimalism are full of life, resulting in products made with a longer-term focus – better with age. Holistic sub-trends are:
- Homespun – Cross over ‘slounge’ wear with comfort fit & minimal details – stylish enough to go out on the town. How appropriate for the times we are living in!
- Better with Age- Classic, refined design with practical details that stand the test of time.
