We’ve come to our fifth and final FDC SS27 Active & Outdoor sub-trend called Barely-There Performance – next to skin compression baselayers for activewear made with stretch woven fabrics. 

Barely-There Performance

Fitted baselayers made with stretch-woven fabrics, which are constructed for active and athleisure wear. This multidimensional stretch fabric is woven with functional synthetic yarn that provides compression – making it suitable for multiple performance activities such as running, hiking, and biking.

Key Yarns

• regen™ BIO Spandex/Elastane: spandex partly made with renewable resources. 
• regen™ Spandex/Elastane: 100% recycled, RCS-certified spandex made from the reclaimed waste from our manufacturing process. 
• regen™ Askin Polyester: 100% recycled polyester with cooling action.
• regen™ Aqua-x Nylon: 100% recycled nylon with cooling action.
• regen™ Aerolight Polyester: a lightweight 100% recycled polyester providing outstanding moisture management function and refreshing feel.
• CREORA™ Color+ Spandex/Ealstane: a special acid/reactive dyeable spandex/elastane, which has excellent elasticity with the added benefit of providing long-lasting richer colors in nylon and natural fiber blends. It reduces grin-through on textile products and makes fabric colors deeper and more vivid.
• CREORA® Fresh Spandex/Elastane: a deodorizing functional spandex that neutralizes the source of perspiration & foot odor. It’s deodorizing performance is built into the yarn, so it will never washout
• CREORA® Coolwave Nylon: super-cooling action nylon that delivers long-lasting cooling and approximately 1.5 times faster moisture absorption compared to conventional nylon.

Suggested Fabrics – Advanced stretch wovens for free movement

By utilizing fine denier nylon and high-content spandex, these fabrics are lightweight while also enhancing stretch and recovery. They can be used across a wide range of items—from base layers that require comfortable stretch, to running tights and performance T-shirts.
