Our fourth FDC Active & Outdoor sub-trend is Urban Splash. Some of you may have witnessed public swimming areas in urban waterways on your travels. We think this is a terrific trend!

Urban Splash: swimwear designed to transition seamlessly from city to beach

With travel becoming a routine part of life, consumers’ expectations for vacation apparel are shifting. They are in search of adaptable styles that seamlessly transition from swimwear to city wear. This season, multifunctional swimwear made from sustainable materials supporting a lower impact message is highlighted.

Key Yarns

• regen™ Spandex/Elastane: 100% recycled, RCS-certified spandex made from the reclaimed waste from   our manufacturing process. 
• regen™ BIO Spandex/Elastane: spandex partly made with renewable resources. 
• regen™ Ocean Nylon: GRS-certified, 100% recycled post-consumer nylon made from discarded fishing nets.
• regen™ Aqua-X Nylon: 100% recycled nylon with cooling action.
• CREORA® Highclo Spandex/Ealstane: developed for superior chlorine resistance and high-power. CREORA® Highclo offers greater durability than conventional elastane commonly used in swimwear. Its superior compression preserves the garment’s shape and fit – even in high heat – prolonging the life of swimwear for every adventure in the water.
• CREORA® Fresh Spandex/Elastane: a deodorizing functional spandex that neutralizes the source of perspiration & foot odor. It’s deodorizing performance is built into the yarn, so it will never washout.
• CREORA® Coolwave Nylon: super-cooling action nylon that delivers long-lasting cooling and approximately 1.5 times faster moisture absorption compared to conventional nylon.
