Hyosung TNC Presents New Stretch Innovations at Kingpins Amsterdam

Shaping a brighter future for denim

October 7, 2025: Seoul, South Korea – Hyosung TNC, the world’s largest manufacturer of spandex by market share supplying the broadest range of stretch fiber offerings under its CREORA® Spandex and regen™ brands, will present a customized range of denim textile solutions to the denim community at Kingpins Amsterdam this October 15-16.

Hyosung TNC will showcase several innovative stretch offerings for denim to include its expanded regen BIO Spandex offering comprised of new regen™ BIO + and regen™ BIO Max Spandex both made with a higher amount of renewable resource content. The denim team will also inform attendees on the transition of the fiber’s feedstock from corn to sugarcane, which enables lower carbon emissions without sacrificing performance.

The company will also highlight its RCS-certified, 100% recycled regen™ Spandex made from industrial waste; CREORA® 3D Max Spandex that delivers excellent stretch and recovery with a very small portion of spandex content allowing the garment to be recycled*; and CREORA® Slip Free Spandex with improved seam slippage that reduces waste. *Source: The Jeans Redesign Project

“Brands take diverse approaches to sustainability from recycled to bio-based to recyclable materials, so it’s essential that we provide solutions tailored to their unique needs,” said Simon Hong, Hyosung Global Denim Marketing Director.

In addition to presenting its new denim textile solutions at the show, Hyosung TNC is proud to continue its sponsorship and support the Kingpins Future Fit Forum (FFF) and Denim Talk powered by CREORA®. Now in its seventh edition, FFF is a curated display and discussion on what fits might look like in the future. It is a challenge to combine existing Levis’s 501 iconic fit deadstock, with modern, responsibly made denim made with Hyosung TNC’s regen™ BIO Spandex or 100% recycled regen™ Spandex.

Visitors can view these unique creations in the Kingpins Boxes, where they can also vote from a selection of responsibly made denim fabric with Hyosung’s sustainable stretch solutions to be chosen for the next FFF challenge. A Denim Talk, a panel discussion by FFF curator, Michelle Branch, and the FFF designers will take place on the Kingpins stage, October 15 (day 1) at 15:00-15:45.

At Kingpins Amsterdam, Hyosung TNC can be found on the first floor of the historic SugarFactory, blue area booth #47.
