Hyosung ‘Regen Seoul’ Partners with CGV Movie Theaters to Improve Eco-Friendly Awareness

Hyosung teams with CGV to improve awareness with “Regen Seoul,” Korea’s leading eco-friendly fiber.
Hyosung will host consumer awareness Pop-Up Booths to promote its Regen Seoul and other corporate environmental awareness initiatives at three theaters (CGV Yeongdeungpo, Yeouido and Gangnam), Korea’s leading multiplex theaters, for two months from the 1st to the end of next month.
Regen seoul is an eco-friendly polyester fiber launched by Hyosung in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG) in January 2021. When local governments collect discarded PET bottles in Geumcheon-gu, Yeongdeungpo-gu, and Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Hyosung collects them and turns them into recycled fibers for making into eco-friendly garments.
The two-month regen seoul/CVG booth is designed to help citizens visiting the theater understand the production process and benefits of our regen fiber and products made from it. Our regen seoul video will be shown on a large screen in the booth. In addition, the CGV smile staff greeting you at the cinema, will be wearing uniforms made of our regen seoul in collaboration with Pleatsmama.
Hyosung anticipates this CVG collaboration to be an opportunity to improve consumer awareness of our eco-friendly recycled products, how they are made, and to increase the brand power of regen, Korea’s leading eco-friendly fiber.
