Hyosung FW ‘23/’24 Trend Byte 3

Lewis Hong

Welcome back and thanks for checking in!

The third theme in our Sport Smart sub-trend is called Free Movement.

We see active leggings that offer more comfort and support become wardrobe essentials. Using smart fabrics designed to be made to last and transcend years – not seasons – is a key factor in a consumer’s purchase. These fabrics must have stretch & recovery, body shaping, wicking & drying, and UV protection properties.

Our recommended yarns and fabric suggestions for Free Movement include:

Key Hyosung yarns:

  • creora® Powerfit: spandex/elastane with high power and excellent heat resistance that maintains its fabric power even when setting at high temperature or re-dyeing
  • creora® Fresh: spandex/elastane that possesses excellent deodorizing and durability attributes that do not wash out.
  • creora® color+: spandex/elastane, which has excellent dye-ability and color fastness in blends with nylon, which is dyed with acid dyestuff. It can reduce grin-through on textile products and makes fabric colors deeper and more vivid.
  • creora® regen: 3rd-party certified 100% recycled spandex/elastane made from reclaimed waste

Fabric suggestions:

  • Interlock
  • Single jersey
  • Rib
