Gleamy Radiance

In the activewear market, glossy finishes are being widely embraced. Fabrics with a subtle yet luxurious sheen are applied in a fashion forward manner to versatile pieces that transition seamlessly from the street to studio. Notably, silk-like nylon with a special cross-section provides a refined luster, along with a soft and comfortable handfeel. These materials offer a wide range of fabrications—from knits to wovens—making them suitable for various applications from outerwear to bra top and leggings.

Key Yarns

• CREORA® Rexy2 Nylon: a nylon that offers a luxurious gloss and soft texture, mimicking the sheen of rayon and silk.
• CREORA® Fresh Spandex/Elastane: a deodorizing functional spandex that neutralizes the source of perspiration & foot odor. It’s deodorizing performance is built into the yarn, so it will never washout. 
• CREORA® EasyFlex Spandex/Elastane: a soft stretch spandex that provides a luxuriously feel on the body. It stretches more smoothly than conventional spandex and shows excellent recovery allowing you to move more comfortably and freely in everyday items such as hosiery, socks, underwear, leggings, and active wear. It maintains a long-lasting comfortable fit and allows for size inclusivity where one size can fit various body types.

Suggested Fabrics

For this trend, we developed materials with a subtle sheen for luxurious and feminine activewear. Hyosung’s nylon, Rexy2, which offers a sophisticated sheen, is the key fiber for this trend. Using this fiber, we updated essential activewear fabrics, such as washed nylon woven fabric and rib construction suitable for women’s tops, by enhancing them with a soft, elegant sheen.
