We are excited to begin our new FW 26/27 Trend Byte series! We have a lot of information to share over the next several weeks, so please be sure to check back often!

The overarching FW 26/27 Textile Trend is called Restorative Journey that encompasses three major sub trends – Wellness Travel, Emergence of Quiet Outdoor, and Eco-Accountability in relation to activewear, outdoor wear and lounge wear categories.  

Let’s begin!

The first Restorative Journey textile trend theme for activewear is called Feelgood Dash – core running fashions with enhanced performance. As consumers enjoy active resort sports, breathable/lightweight shells and winter base layers encourage consumers to comfortably explore the outdoors and revel in nature’s beauty. Whether you prefer to trail run, walk, or hike, thermo-regulating layering will keep you warm in freezing temperatures even if it gets wet. 

Our recommended yarns and fabrics for Feelgood Dash include: 

Key Yarns

•  regen Aerolight: a lightweight 100% recycled polyester providing outstanding moisture management function and refreshing feel.
• CREORA® Aeroheat: a heat-generating polyester that absorbs light from sources such as sunlight and fluorescent lamps, releasing heat.
• CREORA® Fresh: is a deodorizing functional spandex that neutralizes the source of perspiration & foot odor. It’s deodorizing performance is built into the yarn, so it will never washout. 

Suggested Fabrics

Single jersey/interlock with UV protection/cut mesh with a variety of ventilation holes/thermo-regulating fleece.
