Welcome to our final Interconnected Future sub-trend – The Science of Comfort, where over the next few weeks we will be sharing the five themes that fall under this sub-trend. The first is Color+.

Playful digital brights not only transform basics into feel-good fashion pieces and push classic lingerie into the fashion limelight. Using deeper and richer color to inject newness creates better basics with Hyosung’s dyeable spandex/elastane. Ideally, these fabrics will have a soft touch, excellent stretch & recovery, and excellent cover fastness.

Our recommended yarn and fabric suggestions for Color+ include:

Hyosung Key Yarns:

• prizma: polyester fiber that has superior color fastness compared to regular polyester and nylon products, and is dyeable at low temperatures under normal pressure. It exhibits vivid colors and durability against dyeing and washing.  
• creora® color+: spandex/elastane, which has excellent dye-ability and color fastness in blends with nylon, which is dyed with acid dyestuff. It can reduce grin-through on textile products and makes fabric colors deeper and more vivid.
• creora® black: a black dope-dyed spandex/elastane, which produces a deeper and darker color without grin-through.
