Introducing Hyosung’s Family of Eco-Friendly Fibers
Our brand of eco-friendly, 100% recycled yarns called regen® comes from the word regeneration – creating a continuous circle that brings waste back to high-quality resources.
Hyosung began developing relevant technologies well over a decade ago, when the need for recycled fiber was just becoming recognized and launched MIPAN® regen nylon and regen polyester in 2007 and 2008, respectively. We were soon recognized for our thought leadership and eco-friendly product development and received the Global Recycle Standard (GRS) certification from Control Union, a global certification body for eco- friendly products.
In 2019, we launched our 100% GRS-certified recycled spandex called creora® regen, the first fully recycled spandex on the market.
With our portfolio of 100% GRS-certified spandex, nylon and polyester, we’ve strengthened our position as an eco-friendly yarn brand, resulting in partnerships with multiple global fashion brands.
As more consumers are committed to fulfilling their social responsibilities for the environment, we’ve received increased requests from brands to develop customized solutions that address their consumers’ unique needs. As a result, we’ve added multi-function properties to our regen fibers to enhance temperature regulation, anti-bacterial, UV protection and many more.
