We are excited to begin our new FDC SS 26 Trend Byte series! We have a lot of information to share over the next several weeks, so please be sure to check back often!

We begin with the first SS 26 Textile Trend theme called Wanderlust Days, which so fitting for summer! This theme embraces the consumer trend desiring summer sports apparel with advanced functionality, feel-good athleisure apparel made with enhanced plant-based materials, versatile sportswear with a natural surface and touch, and eye-catching sporty swimwear. The first of Wanderlust Days three sub-trends is called Vacation Mode. 

Vacation Mode

With the trend of consumers enjoying active sports while on vacation, which can often-times be in hot and humid weather, travelers are looking to stay fresh during and after their workout. Therefore, there will be increasing demand for enhanced performance wear in this season. 

Key Yarns

• CREORA® Fresh Spandex is a deodorizing functional spandex that neutralizes the source of perspiration & foot odor. It’s deodorizing performance is built into the yarn, so it will never washout. 
• regen Spandex is a 100% recycled, RCS-certified spandex made from the reclaimed waste from our manufacturing process. 
• CREORA® Iceskin Nylon is an innovative nylon material that has a special hydrophilic polymer integrated within the yarn, resulting in approximately 1.5 times faster moisture absorption compared to conventional nylon. This enhancement significantly improves its cooling and comfort properties. 
• regen Aerolight is 100% recycled lightweight polyester due to its hollow core.
• regen Askin is 100% recycled polyester with cooling action.
• regen Aqua-X is 100% recycled nylon with cooling action.

Suggested Fabrics

Breathable mesh/textured jacquard/lightweight wovens.
